Greetings From Haywards

Russell Way @ Foothill Blvd. Hayward, CA

Commissioned by the City of Hayward for the Hayward Area Historical Society

2011

Designed in collaboration with the Hayward Area Historical Society, this 76-foot mural is a big welcome for those visiting and welcome home for residents of Hayward. From the hot rod history racing down Foothill Boulevard, all the way to the orchards that define the agricultural roots. All placed into a postcard portrait of place that recalls iconic fruit crate packaging and the signage of yore.

We've had the pleasure of working with Josh on multiple highly visible mural projects throughout the City of Hayward for over a decade. He’s a true professional, making each project an easy and collaborative process from design to implementation. The Hayward Adult School mural was no exception and stands as a vibrant reflection of our shared vision for public art.
