Education is our greatest asset, and it was a really cool honor to create this entry mural for the Hayward Adult School. It features the training, study areas, and bright welcome that a new possibility holds.
Opened in 1934, The Hayward Adult School has been supporting their community in adult education needs- from high school diplomas, serving an enrollement of 18,000 students in the mid-2000's. Now, the school provides "opportunities for students to learn English, obtain their GED/High School Diploma, gain career and technical education, parenting and employability skills to fulfill their life-long learning goals. The Hayward Center is an integral part of the Hayward education community with satellite class offerings for HUSD parents at various elementary and middle schools and afternoon credit recovery classes for high school students at their home campus."
